Dramafest : Call for Submissions

About Dramafest
Sponsored by Marygrove College Theatre, Dramafest is an evening of staged readings of original one-act plays and excerpts from longer works written by emerging and established playwrights. Dramafest also encourages and emphasizes the development of new works by women and ethnically diverse playwrights.

How to Submit Your Play for Consideration
Interested playwrights should submit their work(s) to Leslie Love at llove@marygrove.edu by Friday, February 1, 2013 for consideration in the 2013 Spring Dramafest at Marygrove College. Please do not submit more than 3 samples of work. Each play must include the following:
* Playwright bio
*Play synopsis
*Character List and Description
*One act of the play

Dramafest will take place on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 8:00 pm in the Marygrove College Theatre.

Dramafest: The Second Stage
Marygrove College and The Arts Leagues of Michigan/Virgil H. Carr Cultural Center have partnered to present Dramafest: The Second Stage. Selected playwrights from Spring Dramafest are invited to present their play, in its entirety, at the Carr Center and will receive a stipend.
